Most of us are familiar with that uncomfortable feeling that comes from eating too fast or eating something that didn't quite agree. Indigestion, over fullness, gas, bloating... However you want to phrase it, it's not fun! Fortunately, there's a simple, effective way to soothe the belly, and it comes in the form of a cup of tea.
Preparation - Maus recommends using 1-2 tsp. tea per 8oz. cup of water; use more or less according to you taste. Steep for 2-3 minutes before straining. Adding a bit of honey and cream are a great enhancement for this wonderfully satisfying tea.
Ingredients - Ginger Root, Chamomile, Peppermint leaves, and a pinch of Fennel seed. You add the honey!
