Also Known As - Echinacea angustifolia, Echinacea pallida, Coneflower, Snakeroot, Purple Coneflower, and Blacksamson.
Medicinal Uses - Echinacea has been used for virus infections such as the common cold and flu. It is used to strengthen the immune system. It has also been used for returning vaginal fungal infections (yeast infections) along with antifungal products applied to the vaginal area.
Overview - Echinacea is a hardy perennial that is indigenous to Canada and the United States and organically grown, right here on our ranch. Roots are harvested after their 3rd year and sun dried. We use our own fertilizers from our chickens, Giant Chinchilla Rabbits and our Kinder Goats. We water our crops with fresh water from our private well where the water comes from the glaciers of Mt. Rainier and run through our back yard in the Nisqually River.
