Overview - The bark of this wild relative of the Coca plant (Erythroxylum coca ) is known among some Amazonian herbalists as the supreme aphrodisiac for men and women, and has been highly regarded for many generations. It is a mild CNS stimulant that is used to balance and tonify the nervous system. It is used in folk remedies to increase libido, as a cardiotonic, to sharpen memory, and for all manner of nervous conditions including anxiety, insomnia, exhaustion and nerve pain. Clinical studies have revealed Catuaba’s antibacterial and antiviral properties.
Parts Used - Bark.
Indications: Do not use if seal is broken or missing. Store in a cool dry place.
