We prepare our Catnip Extract from the leaves of Nepeta Cataria plant which are organically grown on our own ranch without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. Our Catnip is never fumigated or irradiated.
To assure optimal extraction of the catnip bioactive compounds, the leaves are hand-picked and are carefully shade-dried to retain their full color & aroma, and are then thoroughly extracted.

Catnip, also known as field balm, catswort or catmint, has been used for at least 2000 years and is known as strong medicine for the treatment of colds, tension, insomnia and stomach upsets, yet gentle enough for children. Catnip herbal extracts are particularly good for relief of insomnia and prevention of nightmares. Catnip is one of the best ways to control anxiety it’s a mild sedative that is said to help you relax. It acts as an overall herbal pain reliever to ease tension headaches, migraines and cramps. Catnip is a carminative, or substance that helps expel gas, it is also considered a gastric stimulant in humans. It aids in the movement of material out of the digestive system, including food and infection, while reducing muscle tightness and inducing overall relaxation.
Catnip is a nervous system "calmative" and used as a muscle relaxer. It is known to calm the body and reduce restlessness, stress, tension and hyperactivity. For children, it can be highly effective in coping with ADHD. Instructions: Shake well before each use and when finished, store in cool dark place. Use 6-12 drops in juice or water, under the tongue or as desired and may be taken 3 times daily. Keep out of reach of children.
Precautions: Currently, there are no known warnings or contraindications with the use of Catnip Herbal Supplement.
